Discovery Scuba Diving (DSD) – First Scuba Diving Experience in Kas

Discovery Scuba Diving (DSD) is a first diving experience designed for people who have never dived before and does not require a certificate. With SubAQUA Diving Center, you can safely experience breathing underwater for the first time in the clear waters of Kas.

What is Discovery Scuba Diving (DSD)?

DSD is an experience program designed for those who want to try scuba diving before starting a full certificate course. All applications are made under one-on-one supervision with a PADI professional.

• No prior diving experience required
• Maximum depth: 12 meters (usually starts at 5-6 meters)
• Ideal for those who will experience Kas diving for the first time

How Does the DSD Experience Progress?

1. Briefing: Basic safety rules, hand signals, and equipment use are explained.

2. Shallow Water Application: Breathing habits and simple skills are acquired in very shallow water.

3. Open Water Dive: A tour is made in the aquarium-like bays of Kas under instructor control.

Who Can Participate?
