What is PADI Open Water Diver Training?

PADI Open Water Diver is the world's most widely recognized entry-level diving certification.

Training Stages

1. Theoretical Training
Training is provided on diving physics, equipment knowledge, safety rules and dive planning.

2. Shallow Water Training
Basic diving skills are practiced in a safe and controlled environment (pool or shallow water).

3. Open Water Dives
4 open water dives are performed at the best dive sites of Kaş and skills are reinforced.

Who Can Participate?

• Be at least 14 years old (legal minimum age in Turkey)
• Have basic swimming skills
• No health problem preventing diving

Course Duration and Inclusions

• 3-4 days training duration
• PADI digital training materials (e-Learning)
• All diving equipment rental
• 4 open water dives
• International PADI certificate

Yes, basic swimming is sufficient (200m swim or 300m snorkel swim).
